This husband and wife-painting team is one of a kind. They are two artists with one vision, working together on the same canvas. In 1987, Wendy & Kevin quit their jobs and wrote a mission.
"Reflect the beauty of God's Natural World and share it with a World Wide Audience."
With unwavering faith, they continue diligently on this path. Never caring to follow trends, this fantastic couple wants to create quality work that will leave a lasting legacy.

For years now we have been purchasing art at the shows presented in Summit County, Colorado, and for years Wendy Schaefer and Kevin Miles have been our favorite artists among so many others we love. Our home is filled with art, so much so that there is limited wall-space remaining. Nevertheless, each time we see Schaefer/Miles' paintings we begin to think about where to hang another one. To date we have six. We love the boldness of their color selection and the life-like reality of their landscapes which jump out at us. There isn't a day which goes by that we do not admire their efforts which adorn our home. The beauty we sense in their work reminds us of the people who created it - warm, intelligent people who love what they do - and seem born to it. For that I will always be grateful. -D.F.

My wife and I have been collecting Wendy and Kevin's pieces for over 20 years. We started with a serigraph purchased during a cruise on Royal Caribbean. Out of all the artists out there, their work envelops us and allows us to interact with it. Their works allow the imagination to take you into the piece and explore like no other artist today. They have created both real and fictional places for us as well as one piece with our three maltese babies which have passed. I can not encourage others enough to find time to meet them as well. We have had the privilege on a number of occasions and could sit and chat with the two of them for hours as they are just that type of good people everyone enjoys being around.
Which painting do you own?
Lost In Paradise
Your experience.
Though this is not necessarily our favorite piece, I only say that as I would be hard pressed to pick any one of our pieces out as a "favorite". This is, though, our latest piece. "Lost In Paradise" is a fictional place created from the ideas/descriptions that my wife and I shared with Kevin and Wendy. We can only say that we are ecstatic about this piece and every other one that we have. My only complaint is that Kevin and Wendy are so busy, that it is often difficult to catch up with them to accept final delivery of new pieces. Of course, as I mentioned earlier, part of that is our fault as we prefer to physically meet up at the time of delivery for a little one on one time. With them in Wisconsin and us in Florida, we don't get much chance, but again, are always overjoyed when we can get it scheduled. -S.H.
Our purpose...

Wendy and Kevin's collaborative art pieces have been exhibited in some of the country's most prominent galleries, alongside renowned artists such as Peter Max, Salvador Dali, Picasso, and Rembrandt. In 2003, the Wisconsin Foundation for the Arts honored Schaefer/Miles by selecting them as their commissioned artists. As a result, they were able to hang one of their elegant oil paintings in the governor's mansion, where it has become a part of Madison's Elvehjem Museum's permanent collection. The impressionistic artworks of Schaefer/Miles have been widely published and admired by over 7 million people annually, with distribution in over 40 countries worldwide. Despite their incredible level of exposure, Wendy and Kevin have shunned media attention. The private artists reside on a farm located in one of the least populated areas of Western Wisconsin, where they can find new inspiration and privacy to be creative. The artists often feature the beauty of the surrounding countryside in their works.
